Summary
The primary goal of this grant is to support the coordination and capacity-building of National Contact Points (NCPs) for the Digital Europe Programme. The action aims to professionalize and improve NCP services across Europe, ensuring effective and efficient access to programme calls and tailored support for the various specific objectives of the Digital Europe Programme. The initiative seeks to maximize awareness of funding opportunities, boost the implementation of EU digital policies, and enhance the visibility and long-term impact of the programme. It also focuses on fostering an interactive and cohesive community of practice among NCPs, promoting inclusiveness and comprehensive geographical coverage, and reinforcing transnational collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
Eligibility for this grant is directed at consortia that can contribute to the NCPs network for the Digital Europe Programme. The consortium should be capable of facilitating transnational cooperation among NCPs, supporting cross-border activities, and sharing best practices. It should also provide a framework to support participation in the programme, particularly for new applicants, and deliver tailored communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities. Special emphasis is placed on enhancing the competence of NCPs, including supporting less experienced members to quickly acquire necessary expertise.
The expected impact includes improved NCP services, increased participation and proposal quality, strengthened outreach, and optimal cooperation among NCPs. The action will help raise awareness of the Digital Europe Programme, promote the use of digital capacities and services, and create synergies with other dissemination initiatives, ultimately supporting the broader implementation of EU digital policies.
